What's in The Template ($59) vs the Full Planning Kit ($99)?

**The Template** is the Excel planner — one .xlsx file with pre-built tabs for the timeline, budget, guest list, vendor tracker, and a per-ceremony to-do list. It's everything we used for our own family weddings, formula-loaded, ready to fill in.

**The Full Planning Kit** is The Template *plus*:

- **Vendor Guide PDF** — curated, hand-vetted vendor shortlists across UK, USA, Canada, and Punjab (caterer, decorator, mehndi artist, photographer, dhol, anand karaj coordinator), with photos, price bands, and notes on who we'd actually book.
- **Suhaag Songbook PDF** — Punjabi wedding songs (Suhaag, Ghorian, Sangeet, Mehndi, Doli, Vidaai) with Gurmukhi + Romanized lyrics side by side, plus context on when each is sung.

Lifetime access to both. We push updates whenever we add new vendor cities or new songs.

What format is the Excel? Will it work on Mac / Numbers / Google Sheets?

The Template is a `.xlsx` file. It opens cleanly in:

- **Microsoft Excel** (Windows, Mac, web, mobile) — best fit, all formulas + dropdowns work
- **Apple Numbers** (Mac, iPad, iPhone) — opens fine; some conditional-format colors look slightly different
- **Google Sheets** — upload the file, Sheets converts it automatically; formulas are preserved, dropdowns work

We test every release on all three before we ship it. If something looks off in your tool, email us a screenshot and we'll fix it.

When do I get the files after I pay?

Instantly. The moment Stripe confirms the charge:

1. You're redirected to your dashboard
2. Three download tiles appear: The Template, Vendor Guide, Suhaag Songbook
3. Each download link is signed for 1 hour — re-fetch any time from the same dashboard if the link expires

Stripe also emails you a receipt within ~30 seconds. Whenever we ship a kit update, you get the new version free — same dashboard, same login.

How do refunds work?

If the kit isn't right for you, email `hello@punjabiweddingorganizer.com` within 14 days of purchase with your receipt and we'll refund the charge in full. No forms, no exit survey, no "have you tried…?". The refund hits your card in 5–10 business days (Stripe's standard window).

After 14 days, refunds are case-by-case — we'd rather make it right than say no, but file delivery + lifetime access mean we're a bit more careful past that window.

Can I share the kit with my mum, sister, or planner?

Yes — for personal family use. The whole point of the Excel template is that the bride, mum, sister, and (sometimes) the future MIL all need to see and edit the same plan. Forward the file, share the Google Sheets copy, send the PDFs to your dad's WhatsApp — all fine.

What we ask: don't redistribute the kit publicly (don't post the files, don't sell or give them away outside your immediate family). It's how a small two-sister team keeps shipping updates without going broke.

Do you ship internationally?

Everything is digital — there's no physical shipping. The Excel template and PDFs download directly to your computer, no postage, no customs. Buy from London, Toronto, Sydney, San Francisco, Amritsar, or anywhere with internet — same delivery, same instant access.

Stripe handles currency conversion at checkout. You're charged in USD; your bank converts to your local currency at the prevailing rate (usually within 1–2% of Google's quoted rate).

Will the kit work for a Sikh / Hindu / mixed wedding?

The kit is built around the **12 ceremonies** common to most North Indian Punjabi weddings — Roka, Sagai, Maiyan, Mehndi, Sangeet, Jaago, Anand Karaj (Sikh) or Phera (Hindu), Doli, Vidaai, Reception, plus the smaller in-betweens.

- **Sikh weddings** — full coverage, including Anand Karaj logistics, Lavan timing, Granthi shortlist
- **Hindu Punjabi weddings** — substitute Phera + Mandap setup for Anand Karaj; everything else (Mehndi, Sangeet, Doli, etc.) is identical
- **Mixed weddings (Sikh + Hindu, Sikh + non-Indian, Hindu + non-Indian)** — works well; the timeline tabs make it easy to add a side ceremony or two and the Vendor Guide covers both Anand Karaj and Mandap vendors

What it's *not* built for: South Indian wedding traditions (Tamil, Telugu, Malayali, Kannada). Different ceremonies, different vendors — we'd send you elsewhere.

My wedding is 18+ months out — is the kit still useful now?

The kit is updated periodically; you keep getting new versions free as we add cities, vendors, and songs.

I bought The Template — how do I upgrade to the Full Kit?

You don't lose access to anything you already have. Same dashboard, same downloads, just two more tiles.

1. **Read the kit's setup guide** — first tab of the Excel, walks through what each tab does and which fields to fill in first
2. **Email** — `hello@punjabiweddingorganizer.com`. We answer within 48 hours, usually faster. Send a screenshot if you can.
3. **VIP tier ($599+)** — includes a 1-hour 1:1 video call with one of us, plus async follow-ups for the rest of your planning window. Best fit if you want a real human alongside you, not just a kit.
